Parent Testimonials
While we have used--and appreciated--many providers over the the years, AOI stands out for high-quality, comprehensive services. Their focus on proven approaches, team communication, and meticulous follow-through has finally made it possible to carry the intervention through the home, school, and community environments. Everyone at AOI has their ears and minds open to everyone else on the team. The respect AOI has earned in the public school system--from the behavioral aide to the Director of Special Ed--has been a powerful force in our son's education.
"His progress in the last 18 months has been nothing short of phenomenal, and it's my belief that AOI has been the difference. We can't thank you enough for treating him as a whole child--and for serving our whole family as well."

"Autism Outreach has been a wonderful experience for my son. They have given him the opportunity to be successful with his ASD diagnosis. The social groups offer a fun and methodical approach for learning social skills. The summer and holiday camps offer a nurturing and constructive learning environment during vacation times. The one-on-one therapy sessions have given him functional verbal and thinking skills. In the last two years, he has gone from suffering from anxiety to thoroughly enjoying school and his activities. The positive and expert therapy provided by Autism Outreach has addressed my son's essential social and developmental needs. It is a great joy for us as parents to see our son on a path of progress and we are very grateful to the dedicated team at Autism Outreach."

"Our son started ABA therapy with AOI 1 year ago. He also began attending the weekly social group at that time. Since that time, we have seen positve changes in Griffin. He more readily engages in social activities with his peers and even seeks the company of other kids his age. We are very pleased with the attention and understanding shown to Griffn by all of the therapists."

"Michelle has brought my son out of the darkness called Autism. His improvements have been steady and she has been with our son and our family every step of the way for 3 years. She was able to extinguish his echolalia in two weeks. Potty train him in one weekend when we had struggled for a year. She regularly attends IEP meetings to make sure there is no gaps between what is going on at home and what my child should be doing at school. Social group has also been amazing for my son and is very structured so goals are accomplished regularly. The staff at AOI are incredible and I can't recommend them highly enough!"

"Autism Outreach has been a beacon of hope for us for the past seven years. And we feel like we are part of one great big caring family. It is the one place I know I can count on where the staff's only agenda, and passionate mission, is to know and to help my child. Thank you to Michelle and everyone for your dedication."

"We have been with AOI for about 1 1/2 years now and are pleased with the progress we see with our now 5 year old daughter. Our consultant, Leslie Smith, BCBA, has been so helpful in setting up our plan and teaching all of the people who work with our daughter the ABA program that we are using and keeping them on board with our program. Leslie has been good for me, personally, to work with as she actually gets what it is to have kids, a spouse and a life, and try to make it work with a child on the Spectrum. I look forward to seeing a huge amount of success as our daughter learns and grows with her peers."

"Within hours if not minutes of meeting with Autism Outreach, we immediately knew they were going to be a great group to work with. AOI possesses lots of great qualitites, but exudes two things above all from the get-go: excellence in their field and love for their kids. It's hard to think of a better combiniation."

"AOI has made the difference in our child's life. Because of the dedication, love of children and expertise, my son can now face the world with a leveled playing field. We will always be grateful for the life-saving help he received from them. We only hope our next duty station will provide the same quality therapy that we have become used to!"

"I really couldn't be happier with Autism Outreach. ALL you have to do is look at my daughter and the progress she's made to see what sets them apart."
- Melissa Hartman, Parent
"AOI is not a group of consultants; after 8 years they are part of the family."
